Waterford Organic Gaia 1.1, Ireland, Single Malt Whisky

Gaia 1.1 Organic is the first organic Irish whisky to be certified by the Organic Trust. It inaugurates the new unconventional range of organic, biodynamic and heritage distillates. This first whisky is distilled from organic Irish barley grown by Paddy Tobin, Alan Jackson, Pat and Denis Booth, Jason Stanley, Trevor Harris and John Mallick.

Gaia 1.1 is aged entirely in super-premium oak barrels: 42% first fill American oak, 17% virgin American oak, 18% natural sweet wine barrels and 23% French oak. It is bottled at 50% alcohol with no colouring, no cold filtration and no additives.
