In 2017, the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages, acquired Château Haut-Batailley, a Grand Cru Classé 1855 in Pauillac.
The vineyard of Château Haut-Batailley is composed today of about forty hectares, of which 22 hectares are already planted. The vineyard is composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is 35 years.
Verso is the second wine of the estate.
