Family vineyard (Jean-Pierre Cornut leads the domain today) acquired in 1940, the Château de La Maltroye with its roof of glazed tiles from the 18th century is located at the top of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. It has beautiful vaulted cellars dating from the 15th century.
The domain has 13 Ha of Chassagne-Montrachet and 2 Ha of Santenay. It has a production of about 60,000 bottles a year, 60% white (Chardonnay), 40% red (Pinot Noir), 70% of the first crus from the most prestigious vineyards.
Mechanically worked soil, reasonable culture for treatment and control, this domain is focused on quality. The grapes obtained, harvested and sorted manually, ensure the development of great wines.
Stirring and malolactic fermentation in barrels. After 12 months of aging, light filtration before bottling at the domain.
