1999: Chanson Pere & Fils is integrated in the family group around Bollinger Champagne.
This group of family domains brings together the best specialists in every area: Bollinger and Ayala Champagne, Langlois-Chateau in the Loire, Delamain in Cognac. A new team, with extensive experience in the major areas of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, makes every effort to pursue high quality. Authenticity, letting the terroirs express themselves and a close partnership with the best winemakers of Burgundy contribute to this.
Soil: Mix of limestone and clay.
Site: In the heart of the Premier Cru vineyards of Domaine Chanson, this plot covers 4 hectares in the center of the Beaune territory.
The climate at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest started in mid-September in perfect conditions. Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and winery has produced beautiful wines with very pure aromas.
Aged in French oak for 12 months.
