2004 Cartiglio di Capoverso, Toscany, Italy, Toscana IGT
Capoverso (in English the word means paragraph and it represents a new beginning), is a vineyard with an area of 15.5 hectares, including 11 hectares of vineyards, located at an altitude of 350-400 meters. The new plant is consistent with the ideal density of 6,000 vines per hectare. It is located near Montalcino and beside grapes they also grow olives. The domain was founded in 2000 by Adriana Fondel Avignonesi della Lucilla, who used her experience to launch his new company to transform her own wine philosophy into reality.
Current production is 45,000 bottles, enough for national and international distribution. Production will increase in the future with a target of 80 000 bottles and five different labels.
This wine, 100% made from Merlot, is aged for 8 to 10 months in oak barrels.
