Foxglove is the premium brand from Varner Wines, the home of twin brothers Bob and Jim Varner.
In the early 1980s they began producing premium wines at their Spring Ridge vineyard in the Portola Valley.
Their work lies in the estate's parcel-based management, which aims to respect and highlight each parcel and its microclimate in order to produce terroir-driven wines that appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.
The Varners have succeeded in making wines of impressive quality for which, despite the very limited scale of their production, they regularly receive awards.
