Domaine de la Pagerie's vineyards are located in the heart of the Reuilly appellation. Baptiste Pointereau, a passionate young winemaker, took over this historic former Reuilly vineyard from Domaine Guy Malbète in 2017.
Today, he cultivates 12 hectares of vines on Reuilly's finest terroirs of clay-limestone and gravelly sand. These include Les Ferrières, Les Grandes Vignes, Le Clos des Messieurs and Les Varennes in the commune of Lazenay. The oldest vines are more than 50 years old.
From the beginning, he has opted for viticulture that respects the soil by limiting inputs, tilling the soil and using only organic fertilisers. Now, after several years of testing, he has decided to go a step further by starting to convert to organic viticulture in 2019.
