Bodegas Resalte de Peñafiel, Spain (DO Ribera del Duero) was founded in the year 2000 with the purpose of creating high quality wines that would stand out in this competitive region.
The cellars are located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, in the historic village of Peñafiel.
The wines are made from 100% Tempranillo, with the grapes being rigorously hand-picked at the vineyard. The vines are 15 years old and are located at 1000 meter above sea level.
The annual production is 250,000 bottles. The cellars are equipped with a sophisticated gravity system, to allow the grapes to arrive at the fermentation tanks intact so as to extract their maximum potential during fermentation. The wines are aged in high quality new French oak barrels of 500 liter.
