2010 Château Bel Orme Tronquoy de Lalande, Bordeaux, France, Haut-Médoc AOC
The Chateau Bel Orme Tronquoy de Lalande is located in the commune of Saint Seurin de Cadourne which is near the town of Saint-Estèphe. The castle owes its name to the Tronquoy de Lalande family, who occupied it in the 19th century and worked greatly for the notoriety of its cru.
Mr. Paul Quie takes over the estate in 1936 and offers it to his wife. The residence becomes again a family house and since 1968, Jean-Michel, their son, runs the operations.
He is now surrounded by his children and Jean-Philippe Coudoin who is the manager of operations.
