2012 Château Fortia Blanc, Côtes-du-Rhône, France, Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOP
The Château Fortia is one of the oldest domains of Châteauneuf du Pape. It probably already produced wine in the 14th century. The castle built in the 19th century is in Neo-Gothic style. Pierre Pastre manages the estate since 2004.
Owner is Baron Bruno Le Roy Boiseaumarié, who is responsible for the vineyard and the winemaking. He is also president of the Union of Producers.
"Genuine historical reference, Château Fortia is a vineyard of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in total metamorphosis. With the initiatives from Pierre Pastre since 2004, took this family estate the road to excellence excellence" La Revue du Vin de France No. 590 April 2015
