This wine is made in the for the Rhone superb 2007 vintage. Here plays Grenache once again the leading role in the assembly, a typical constant for the best wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Besides the Syrah that deliveres a beautiful structure in the wine, we find the Mourvèdre that adds spiciness, supplemented with 5% various grape varieties in the appellation.
The grapes come from four different terroirs: red sandy soil, sand, marl and round red pebbles.
The harvest is done manually with a strict selection on the vineyard. The grape varieties are vinified separately. More than 12 months aging in barrels that already contained one or two wines before.
