Maison Chapoutier is an important wine maker in the finest appellations of the Rhone Valley from Côte-Rôtie through the Hermitage until Côtes du Rhône reaching down the Côtes de Roussillon.
The plots are located on the Coteaux de la Vallée de l'Agly with a soil of gneiss and Devonian schist.
The harvest is manual. The grapes are 100% de-stemmed.
The extraction is only done by punching. Maceration lasts 2-4 weeks depending on daily tastings. Aged in stainless steel tanks.
