The first vineyards go back to the beginning of the last century and the 1930’s mark a watershed moment. Cesare Porello transforms the small property into a proper establishment dedicated to the production of wine. Cesare’s legacy was inherited by his sons, Riccardo and Ettore, who, in contrast with the tendency of the times, dedicated themselves totally to the work in the vineyards.
From 1994 until today, the company has been run by Marco, Riccardo’s son.
Their attention to quality is unchanged for three generations and extends to all their production.
The Barbera vineyards are located in the town of Canale d’Alba. South West exposure, soil of medium density with a good percentage of clay, allowing an ideal maturation of the bunches.
