Winemaker Enrico Teruzzi is undoubtedly responsible for the evolution of Vernaccia di San Gimignano as a wine for tourists to one of the most successful brands in Italy. He never imagined this when he started in 1974. Today, the area of 75 hectares of vines belongs to the wine groupe Sella Cinzano & Mosca. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 120-300 meters. Fermentation as maturation are in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness. 100% Vernaccia grapes.
Vernaccia di San Gimignano has a yellow straw color and fruity simple. The wine gives a fresh and crispy impression by the start. Fruity flavor with a hint of almonds in the aftertaste.
