Domaine de Montcy is a family owned vineyard of 20 hectares in biologic farming. For this purpose they plow the soil and the wines are fermented naturally without any addition of oenological products to meet the best grapes and to produce wine expressing the soil in a very strong way. Minimum and controlled use of sulfite.
The 20 hectares of vineyards are composed of siliceous soil resting on a soil with yellow clay with silex.
The Cheverny Clos des Cendres is a blend of 50% Sauvignon and 50% Chardonnay. The wine is elegant, fruity and has a nice structure.
Manual harvest. Old vines. The wines are made naturally without any chemical input or clearing, they reflect the soil and climate of each vintage. Behind these wines lies a passionate winemaker Laura Semeria.
