Côté Pontoise is the second wine of Château Pontoise Cabarrus. In an excellent vintage, like 2010, the second wines are also of high quality.
The Tereygeol have a family business since 1959, and are renowned for the quality of wines from Château Pontoise Cabarrus. This simple winemaker was outstanding from the start. He produces distinctive wines that always accurately reflect the character of their terroir. This Cru Bourgeois is located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, close to the border with Saint-Estèphe.
The planting density is 7-8000 vines per hectare. Yield of 35 hectoliters per hectare. Careful selection. Ageing 12 months in barrels from 2 or 3 wines. 24% of old vines and 76% of young vines.
