2009 Zédé de Labégorce, Bordeaux, France, Margaux
Zédé is a Margaux from the castle Château Labégorce. It is the second wine of this domain. The vineyard extends from the south-facing slopes in the direction of the Gironde. Since 2009 the name of Labégorce Zédé disappeared by absorption by Château Labégorce. It is now a large domain of 55 hectares owned by the family Perrodo.
The wine is a blend of 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. Manual picking, green harvest, selection tables are among the things that make this wine a great wine. 12 months vatting on French barriques with approximately 20% new barrels each year.
Domaine Zédé is a nice example of a perfectly made Margaux with style and finesse.
