2006 Nuits-Saint-Georges - Les Boudots 1er Cru, Bourgogne, France, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru
In 1999 the domain Chanson Père & Fils was incorporated in the family group around Champagne Bollinger. This group of family-owned domains brings together the best specialists of each region: Bollinger and Ayala in Champagne, Langlois-Chateau in the Loire-region, Delamain in Cognac. A renewed team, with plenty of experience at the large domains of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits makes every effort to obtain a high quality.
Authenticity, their investment in making the terroirs stand out and a close partnership with the best wine farmers in the Bourgogne-region contribute to this.
The 'climat' is situated at the northern border of Nuits-Saint-Georges in the center of the hill. It is similar to the premier cru Malconsorts of Vosne Romanée. The domain has a clay and limestone soil.
In this vintage a warm July and a moist August were followed by a sunlit month of September, creating the perfect conditions for harvesting. After a careful selection in the vineyard, followed by meticulous riping right before pressing, a wine with great purity in its aromas is created. The riping lasts 12 months and is done in vats.
