2011 Mâcon-La Roche Vineuse - Domaine Chanson, Burgundy, France, Mâcon
1999: Chanson Pere & Fils is integrated in the family group around Bollinger Champagne.
This group of family domains brings together the best specialists in every area: Bollinger and Ayala Champagne, Langlois-Chateau in the Loire, Delamain in Cognac. A new team, with extensive experience in the major areas of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, makes every effort to maintain this high quality. Authenticity, making the terroirs speak and a close partnership with the best winemakers of Burgundy contribute to this.
Soil: Clay and limestone.
Site: The production area is located in the South of the Mâconnais, on the hillsides near the famous rocks of Solutré and Vergisson.
The Vintage 2011: After a very cold winter and a very warm spring, the weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again at the end of August. The harvest started mid-September in perfect conditions under an Indian summer. Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and winery has produced very pure white wines, well balanced with fantastic acidity
