2006 Casa Miriam Malbec Reserva, Mendoza, Argentina, Tupungato
The success of these wines is due to the winemaker, Mariano di Paola, for a very large part thanks to his passion, knowledge of the profession and its commitment to producing quality wines since his arrival in 1995.
The wines is made from Malbec grapes that are manually harvested in the Tupungato Valley. In this higher situated valley, it is possible to obtain a higher quality of grapes than in the lower areas. Cold nights allow the grapes to reach a balanced maturation and to maintain fresh flavors. Thus they are able to make wines with an intense concentration and an impressive and elegant structure.
Before bottling the wine ages 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
