2008 Canet Valette - 5 Vignes, Languedoc-Roussillon, France, Saint - Chinian
This is a rough earth, generous in fact, but is wary of appearances. Land of vines, stone and rugby, where people don’t fake. By Cessenon-sur-Orb, near the Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc, it is the scrubland, mountains and the wind, which dictates the law.
The wines are considered as children, witnesses of a silent culture, a rich inner strength that ignores any modes. They are an integral part of this country. What is the use of the land if we did not feel its rhythm, if one is not fully one with it? If one has not loved and suffered with this land?
The Domaine Canet Valette is ECOCERT certified, "organic" since 1999.
