Domaine de Montcy is a family owned vineyard of 20 hectares in biologic farming. For this purpose they plow the soil and the wines are fermented naturally without any addition of oenological products to meet the best grapes and to produce wine expressing in a very strong way the soil. Minimum and controlled use of sulfite.
The vineyards are composed of siliceous soil.
The Cheverny is a blended white wine (Sauvignon and Chardonnay). The wine is elegant and fruity.
The wines are made naturally without any chemical input or clearing, they reflect the soil and climate of each vintage. Behind these wines lies a passionate winemaker Laura Semeria.
The vintage 2009 is considered as an exceptional one for Cheverny.
