The Eguren-family, generation after generation since 1870, has been focused on the viticulture and the making and ageing of wine in privilege terroirs of La Rioja et Toro. Keeping alive the tradition inherited from parents and adapting it to the state-of-the art technologies, the Eguren-family has made a worldwide name thanks to the fine wines produced in its five wineries: Sierra Cantabria, Señorío de San Vicente and Viñedos de Páganos in Rioja, Bodega Teso La Monja in Toro and Dominio de Eguren under Vinos de la Tierra. The Eguren Group currently export to 40 countries, with the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Japan as main markets.

100% Tempranillo from the ‘El Puntido’ vineyard, in Paganos- Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa. The soils are franc-clay texture and calcareous clay composition. Destemmed by hand with a rigorous inspection of every grape. Fermented in French oak barrels of 8,000 kg capacity at 28ºC for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation in new French Bordelaise oak barrels where it stays on its fine lees during the first 4 months. 18 months of barrel-aging follow.
