Champagne Collet's is the oldest cooperative house of champagne producers, founded in 1921 by Raoul Collet. It relies on a supply of nearly 650 hectares of vineyards in the best crus of champagne. In Oger they built new facilities with a storage capacity of 37 million bottles. The two new wineries can produce 29.000 and 27.000 hectolitres.
Using more than 20 wines in its composition, 10% of reserve wines are used depending on the year in order to preserve the character of the champagne.
This champagne has had 48 months aging “sur lattes” in the cellars. The wines are deliberately kept longer in order to offer a wine with perfect maturity. The legislation imposes a minimum aging of 15 months without vintage.
