Domaine du Champ Chapron is a 65 hectare family estate located in the Pays Nantais region on the borders of Brittany and Anjou. The estate benefits from a favourable terroir characterised by gneiss, schist and granite soils, which contribute to the production of mineral, elegant wines. The region's star grape variety is Melon de Bourgogne, known for producing fresh, lively, mineral wines.
Domaine Chapron practises integrated viticulture, focusing on sustainable, environmentally-friendly methods.
Vinification can include both traditional and modern techniques to maximise the expression of terroir and the quality of the wines. Ageing on lees is a common practice to enrich wines and give them greater complexity.
