Bigardo Estate is an emerging and innovative wine producer located in the Toro region of Spain. The estate was founded by Kiko Calvo, a passionate and ambitious young winemaker, determined to create unique wines that reflect the authenticity and character of the Toro region.
After gaining valuable experience in other wine regions, Kiko returned to Toro to start his own wine project, Bigardo. Bigardo's philosophy is based on authenticity, experimentation and respect for the terroir.
Kiko Calvo seeks to produce natural wines, without excessive intervention, thus allowing the grapes and the terroir to fully express themselves. The estate emphasizes sustainable viticultural practices and minimalist winemaking.
